Windice is a dice-first crypto casino that has quietly logged over 2.6 billion bets since 2018. Four in-house provably fair games at a 1% house edge, a minesweeper faucet that pays real crypto to broke players, daily and weekly wagering contests and a rakeback ladder that tops out at 25% make it one of the most community-driven small casinos in crypto. Just know what the Anjouan licence does and does not cover before you play big.

Some casinos chase you with bonus popups. Windice greets you with a chat window where a dozen regulars are wishing each other good luck in three languages. It has been running since 2018, the bet counter crossed 2.6 billion while I was writing this, and the whole platform is still built around the same idea: provably fair in-house games with a thin 1% edge, free crypto for anyone patient enough to grind the faucet, and contests that pay the most active wagerers. I deposited Litecoin, played the originals, swapped coins on the internal exchange, cashed out 1.5 LTC and re-verified every number below on the live site in July 2026. Here is everything I found, including the small print most reviews skip.

1Quick Verdict: Who Windice Is Actually For

Windice is at its best for three types of player. If you want math-friendly betting, the four originals run at a 1% house edge (2.7% for the European roulette), you can verify every roll yourself, and the maximum win per bet is a clearly stated 1 BTC. If you are starting from zero, the faucet is a genuine bankroll builder: a minesweeper mini-game you can play every three minutes, up to 55 times a day at the top activity rating. And if you like social gambling, the chat rains, trivia rounds, forum quests and wagering contests make it feel closer to an old-school dice community than a modern slot warehouse.

Slot-first players who want huge welcome packages should look elsewhere: there is no deposit match here at all. Windice rewards play, not deposits, through rakeback, contests and the faucet economy. High rollers should also weigh the licence section below before moving serious volume.

2Signing Up: Ten Seconds, No Email Required

Registration is the fastest I have seen anywhere. I clicked Sign up, ticked the terms box, and the system generated a username for me on the spot (mine was SpatialMagpie101, which I later changed in settings). No email confirmation is demanded to start playing, though confirming one earns you 100 Wincoins and, more importantly, protects the account: an unconfirmed account lives in a browser cookie, and clearing your history without a password set can lock you out for good. Set a password and enable Google 2FA before you deposit anything.

Registration in full: an auto-generated username, one checkbox, and you are in.

On the privacy side, Windice sits in the deferred-KYC camp, like the other no-KYC crypto casinos I track: no documents at signup, no verification for ordinary crypto play, but the terms reserve the right to request ID and source-of-funds documents at any time, and the AML policy spells out the triggers (large or unusual volume, deposits with no real play, VPN use, multiple accounts). Play straight from an allowed country and ordinary withdrawals go through without paperwork, as mine did.

Worth knowing

One account per person, family, IP and device, strictly. The terms allow confiscation for multi-accounting, VPN use from banned countries and “deposit, no play, withdraw” patterns, which Windice treats as coin mixing. If your deposit shows no genuine play, they can impose a 1x wagering requirement or send the funds back where they came from.

3The Originals: Four Games at a 1% Edge

The heart of the site is the WinWin Games shelf: Dice, Crash, Plinko and Roulette, all in-house, all provably fair, all sharing the same limits: minimum bet of 10 satoshi equivalent in any coin, maximum win of 1 BTC per bet, minimum win chance 0.01%.

The dice interface: pick a range from 0 to 9999, or just type the payout you want and the slider adjusts itself.

Dice: the flagship

Windice rolls a number from 0 to 9999 and you bet on a range, either inside it (IN) or outside it (OUT). The clever part is that you can type a target payout or win chance and the slider adjusts the range for you. I ran a few hundred rolls at 50% chance for a 1.98x payout and the interface never hiccuped; there is a full auto mode with on-loss and on-win bet adjustments, stop-loss and stop-win limits and two speeds. This is the same format I compare every Bitcoin dice site against, and Windice remains one of the cleanest implementations around.

Dice also carries the site-wide progressive jackpot: hit a roll of exactly 7777 with a bet ID ending in 7 and you take a share of the pool, which reseeds at 0.25 BTC and grows with every losing bet above 0.000005 BTC. Your share scales with your stake against the 0.05 BTC maximum jackpot bet, and only deposited funds qualify. The pooled jackpots counter sat above $145,000 while I wrote this.

Crash, Plinko and Roulette

Crash is the spaceship variant: multipliers run from 1.01x up to a theoretical 9900x, with speed control, auto cash-out and session stats. It is a solid single-player take, though fans of big multiplayer rounds may prefer the dedicated rooms in my Bitcoin crash games roundup. Plinko is the most customisable of the four: preset rows from 8 upward with low, medium and high risk, corner multipliers up to 1000x on the high setting, and a custom row editor where you build your own multiplier ladder, something almost no other Bitcoin Plinko site offers. Roulette used to be a quirky ticket lottery; it has since been replaced by a proper single-zero European table paying 36:1 on straight numbers at the standard 2.7% edge.

4Provably Fair, With a Public API for Bot Builders

Every original uses the classic server-seed plus client-seed plus nonce scheme: the upcoming server seed is shown only as a SHA-256 hash, results derive from a SHA-512 of the combined seeds, and rotating your pair reveals the old server seed so you can audit past bets. I verified one of my dice sessions through the built-in verifier and the hashes matched. The Fair page publishes the full algorithm, sample code and a one-click verifier hosted on Codepen, which is exactly the transparency I look for in a provably fair casino.

My session on the Fairness page: the server seed stays hashed until you rotate it, then the old one unlocks for auditing.

A detail that tells you who Windice is really built for: there is a public betting API with keys generated in your account settings, documented on-site, and the online counter in the header splits users between “Site” and “API”. A small crowd of dice bots is betting programmatically at any given moment. Very few casinos still support that openly.

5Slots and Live Casino: A Real Library Behind the Dice

The third-party library has grown well beyond the token slot shelf it had years ago. I counted 36 providers in the current lobby, including Pragmatic Play, BGaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, PG Soft, Play’n GO, Playtech, Wazdan, Endorphina, Belatra, Betsoft, Yggdrasil, Spinomenal and Habanero, with categories for popular, new, bonus buy, card and roulette titles. The staples are all here: Sweet Bonanza, The Dog House, Aztec Magic and friends, searchable by name or provider.

Live tables come from Evolution, Ezugi and Absolute Live Gaming: baccarat, blackjack, roulette and game shows streamed with real dealers. Two honest caveats. Some third-party games are geo-blocked (“game is unavailable in your region”) depending on where you connect from, and each provider sets its own minimums, maximums and RTP, so check the info tab inside a game before assuming the 1% originals edge carries over. It does not.

6The Faucet Economy: Free Crypto, With Rules

The faucet is Windice’s signature feature and it works nothing like the claim buttons of old Bitcoin casino faucets. It is a minesweeper board: open tiles to collect crystals, each crystal pays a guaranteed amount, and hitting a bomb ends the round with whatever you gathered. It only unlocks when your balance is empty, a new round opens every three minutes, and your daily allowance runs from 30 games at zero stars to 55 at five stars.

Those stars are a public activity rating recalculated every hour: the site ranks the top 1,900 players by 30-day wagering volume, and your bracket sets both the claim limit and the Wincoin faucet multiplier (x2 at one star up to x6 at five). New players start on the Wincoin faucet, which pays the site’s internal token; the crypto faucet, the one that pays withdrawable coin, unlocks with the Silver VIP tier at level 21, and each crypto claim costs 200 experience points, so faucet grinding gently taxes your levelling progress.

The login streak: from 10 Wincoins on day one to 100 plus 500 XP on day seven, reset if you skip a day.

Around the faucet sits a whole token economy. Wincoins arrive from the faucet, chat rains, contests and the daily login streak (10 tokens on day one rising to 100 tokens plus 500 XP on day seven), and you spend them in the store on XP boosts, faucet boosts, avatar decorations and chat colours. Two quirks to internalise: unspent Wincoins reset to zero every day at 01:00 UTC, so spend them the day you earn them, and Wincoins themselves can never be exchanged for crypto.

Read this before grinding

The terms are strict about faucet-only balances: Windice reserves the right to refuse withdrawals of funds that come purely from faucet claims or start balances, and topping up a faucet win with a token deposit just to clear the payout minimum is explicitly listed as abuse. Treat the faucet as a way to play and build toward real deposited play, not as a free ATM.

7VIP: 100 Levels, Rakeback to 25%, and a Poaching Offer

The VIP system was redesigned recently and is now the best-documented part of the site. Every dollar wagered earns one experience point, and 100 levels group into six tiers: Copper (1-10), Bronze (11-20), Silver (21-30), Gold (31-40), Platinum (41-50) and Diamond (51-100). Each tier boosts five things at once: the Wincoin faucet (up to +400%), chat rain share (up to +75%), store discount (up to 50%), crypto faucet payouts (up to +30%) and rakeback.

The redesigned VIP page: six tiers from Copper to Diamond, rakeback climbing to 25%, and the Wincoin store economy.

Rakeback is the perk that matters for regulars. It unlocks at Silver, where a slice of every bet starts flowing back to a claimable balance, and scales to 25% at Diamond. Windice does not publish the exact formula, but as with every rakeback scheme the percentage applies to the house edge baked into your bets, not to your gross wager. One fine-print point straight from the FAQ: if unclaimed rakeback sits while your level drops below 21, it is forfeited and starts accruing from zero. Claim it whenever you visit the cabinet.

My favourite competitive touch: a standing “Transfer VIP status from another project” button. Show support your tier at another casino and they will match you into the ladder rather than making you grind from Copper. If you are Gold somewhere else, that is real money.

8Contests, Rains and the Forum

Windice runs three permanent leaderboards, no registration needed, all bets auto-counted and normalised to USDT. The daily wagering contest splits its pool across the top 10, with first place taking a $60 base plus 0.1% of their own wager (capped at $600). The weekly contest works the same with a $300 base for first, capped at $1,500. The Wincoin daily pays $100 in USDT to the ten players holding the most Wincoins at reset. During the week I watched, the daily pool hovered around $120 to $155 and the weekly sat just under $2,000; the homepage advertises tournaments up to $10,000, which reflects peak wagering periods rather than a guarantee, since pools scale with volume. Prizes pay out immediately when a contest closes.

The social layer is constant. The Rainbot drops crypto on active chatters at random, moderators run trivia with Wincoin prizes, and any depositing player can rain or tip others (minimum 0.00001 BTC, deposit-origin funds only). The forum at forum.windice.io is genuinely alive: nearly 20,000 messages in the events section alone, weekly quests like a 150 USDT Magic Numbers contest, and staff who answer support threads in public. For a casino this size, that level of visible community is rare.

The forum is no ghost town: support answered in public, events with 18,000+ messages and daily activity.

9Banking: 10 Coins, an Internal Exchange and My Withdrawal Test

Windice is crypto-only: no cards, no e-wallets, no fiat on-ramp. The footer currently lists 10 coins: BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, BCH, XRP, BNB, TRX, USDT and TON, with TON added recently enough that the terms page still lists nine. Deposit addresses are yours for life, deposits credit after normal network confirmations with no fee from the casino, and two warnings from the terms deserve respect: no cross-chain sends (BCH to a BTC address is gone forever) and no random tokens or smart-contract assets to coin addresses.

The internal exchange

The most underrated feature on the site. A built-in exchange converts between all supported coins instantly, right in the wallet. I deposited Litecoin and swapped part of it to TRX to test it: the quoted rate matched the market closely with the spread baked in, and the swap landed in about a second. If you like betting DOGE or TRX for the granular bet sizing (a habit I picked up researching Dogecoin gambling), you can deposit whatever coin is cheapest to move and convert on arrival.

My 1.5 LTC withdrawal, timed

I requested a payout of 1.50402425 LTC, my full balance at the time. The payout modal quoted a minimum of about 0.13 LTC (roughly $10 at the time) and explained the fee model: a smart fee policy balances speed against cost, capped at 0.0005 LTC on that network, deducted from the amount.

The transaction hit the Litecoin mempool within a couple of minutes and I watched it confirm on-chain: 1.50402284 LTC received, network fee of 0.00000141 LTC, done. That matches the FAQ’s promise of payouts reaching the network within 10 minutes. The terms do reserve up to 72 hours for manual review if fraud systems flag a payout, but nothing I sent ever left “instant” territory.

10Licence, Restricted Countries and the Honest Risk

Windice is owned by Windice Group Limited, registration number 2157509, at Intershore Chambers, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and holds licence No. ALSI-202411018-FI1 from the Gaming Board of Anjouan (Union of Comoros). That is a step up from the unlicensed years under the old Win Games Group name, but keep it in proportion: Anjouan is a light-touch offshore regulator, there is no external dispute arbiter the way MGA or UKGC players enjoy, and complaints go to support@windice.io. The counterweight is seven years of continuous operation, a public forum where problems get aired, and payouts that in my testing simply worked.

The terms name these banned countries: United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Spain, Austria, Germany, Australia and the Comoros. Playing from them through a VPN is confiscation territory, so do not. Wherever you are, you are responsible for confirming online gambling is legal locally.

11Mobile and Support

There is no app, and you do not need one. The mobile site keeps everything: originals, slots, faucet, exchange, chat and deposits reorganise into a bottom navigation bar, and the dice interface stays perfectly usable one-handed. I played faucet rounds and dice sessions from a phone without a single layout break.

Windice mobile lobby with the faucet banner, game tiles and bottom navigation bar
The mobile lobby: faucet banner up top, originals below, and a thumb-friendly bottom bar.

Support is live chat first, reachable from the help bubble whether or not you are logged in, with support@windice.io for anything formal. In my experience answers came from a human in minutes during European evenings; the forum support board works as a public escalation path, which keeps response quality honest.

12Windice Pros and Cons

  • A real faucet: minesweeper claims every 3 minutes, up to 55 a day
  • Rakeback to 25% plus contests that pay actual crypto daily and weekly
  • Instant, near-free withdrawals: my 1.5 LTC arrived in minutes
  • Internal exchange across all 10 coins, including new TON support
  • Living community: chat rains, trivia, an active forum and a public API

Cons

  • Light-touch Anjouan licence and a BVI holding company: no external arbiter
  • Big markets banned: US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Austria, Australia
  • No deposit bonuses at all, and the crypto faucet only unlocks at level 21
  • Wincoins vanish daily at 01:00 UTC if unspent
  • 1 BTC max win per bet and modest contest pools will bore whales
  • Confiscation-heavy terms around VPNs, multi-accounts and faucet abuse

13Final Verdict

Windice is what a crypto casino looks like when it optimises for players who stay instead of players who churn. There is no deposit match because the value flows through play: a 1% edge you can audit, a faucet that genuinely funds broke sessions, rakeback that compounds for regulars and contests that pay out every single day. My deposits, swaps and withdrawals all worked exactly as advertised, the 1.5 LTC payout confirmed on-chain in minutes, and seven years of history plus the most active community chat I have seen at this size count for a lot.

It is not for everyone. The Anjouan licence is thin protection if a dispute ever goes badly, the banned-country list removes most of the regulated West, and slot hunters chasing 200% packages will find the bonus page confusing in its honesty. But for dice players, faucet grinders and anyone who wants low-edge, verifiable gambling with a social pulse, Windice remains one of the easiest recommendations in crypto.
