How the Confidence Pool works
The pool runs on PoolHost, a third-party pick’em platform, rather than inside the Betcoin.ag site itself. Once your Betcoin.ag account exists, you create a PoolHost account under the same username and join Betcoin’s league. The pool page on Betcoin.ag lists the join link and the league password.
Each week you pick every game against the spread. Then you rank your picks: the game you are most confident about gets 16 points, the next 15, and so on down to your shakiest pick. Winning picks score, losing picks do not, and a push counts as a draw. Weeks with fewer than 16 games simply drop the lowest numbers.
A Monday Night Football total serves as the tiebreaker, closest to the actual total wins, and if that is level too the earlier submission takes it.
The prize table
- Weekly, Weeks 1 to 18: $500 to the top three scores, split $250, $150 and $100.
- Season: another $1,000 to the three highest regular-season totals, split $500, $300 and $200.
- Currency: every prize is paid in Bitcoin to your Betcoin.ag balance.
That adds up to $10,000 across the season. The weekly prizes are the ones to aim for: with 18 separate $500 pots there is a payout every single week, and a hot week against the spread can pay even if your season total is nowhere near the top.
How to enter for free
- Register at Betcoin.ag and type BTCGAMBLINGNFL in the Refer code field of the signup form. The code is what links the account to this offer, so it has to go in at registration.
- Open a support chat or ticket and ask to be added to the $10,000 NFL Confidence Pool. Referred accounts are entered without the $25 qualifying bet.
- Create your PoolHost account under the same username and join the Betcoin league using the link and password shown on Betcoin.ag’s pool page.
- Submit picks before each weekly deadline, which is Sunday at 10 AM Eastern. Thursday and Saturday games must be picked before their own kickoff, and an unpicked game counts as zero.
For everyone else, the standard route still applies: $25 of NFL bets at odds of 1.83 (-120) or better, with the bet IDs sent to support. One qualifying entry covers the whole season, and Betcoin.ag’s page sets the Week 1 cut-off at Wednesday 9 September, 7 PM Eastern. The referral waiver runs through Week 6, so there is time to join after the opener, but every week you miss is a $500 pot you were not in.
Things worth knowing before you sign up
- One entry per household. Betcoin.ag may ask duplicate entries to verify identity, and management decisions on the pool are final.
- Country restrictions apply. Betcoin.ag’s terms exclude players from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and several EU countries, so this pool is aimed at NFL fans in Canada, Latin America and the rest of the world rather than at Americans.
